Ferrari 250GT Coupe Pinin Farina at Concorso d'Eleganza

While the finished Aston Martin One-77 may have been the indisputable star of this past weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza, let's not forget that the show is primarily focused on classic production and concepts cars. And as such, the eponymous Lake Como villa attracted more than 50 classic beauties built between the 1920s and 1970s including this pristine 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Coupé Pinin Farina that was awarded the special prize for Best Restoration.

According to Ferrari, the full restoration, which encompassed both running gear and bodywork, was completed only a few days ago by 'Ferrari Classiche' that returned the car to its original condition in every respect.

This gorgeous example of the 250GT Pinin Farina that is owned by Kenneth and Dayle Roach from California, made its first public appereance at the 39th Brussels Motor Show in January 1956. The sports coupe was then delivered to the Ecurie Francorchamps team that same year, going on to compete in numerous races.
