Carscoop's: Lada Red & Black: A 220Hp Russian "pimpster" you’d better not joke about

How do you double the value of a Lada? Fill it with petrol! Nice joke, but you’d better keep it for yourself if you ever “bump” into this tuned Lada 2110. Dubbed “Red & Black” this extreme Lada 2110 is the work of Lukoil Racing Team & Tj Auto. While Russian language is certainly not one of our strong points, we tried our best though a translation program to decode some info of Lukoil’s site. From what we made, the Rad & Black is a road going version of Lukoil’s "Super class" racing car.

While the exterior is not that dramatic –well apart from the Jumbo jet rear spoiler that is, its interior is quiet impressive with the F1 inspired dashboard and the aero-type console with the 6speed sequential auto-box. Weighing in at just 1.150kg - 2535 lbs, the Red & Black is equipped with a 1.6-litre 4cylinder engine that has an output of 220hp @ 8.300 rpm (!) and a maximum torque figure of 220Nm @ 6.800 rpm.
