Gum-Ball HumVee

Possibly, the sweetest and less harmful Humvee you’ll ever lay your eyes on. Work of German artist Heidi Hesse who’s been living in the States since 1982, the life-sized, gum-ball covered Humer was exposed in 2004. According to the German artist, the sugary HumVee “comments on pop culture and reminds us of soldiers handing candy to children in far-flung countries at war with us”. Huh? Either someone's being extremely sarcastic here or Utopia just gained another permanent resident... -More pics after the jump
